The Folding Faucet incorporates the Cold Open system , it is an opening system designed to save energy. With the Cold Open system when you operate the handle from the central position, you only get cold water, thus avoiding to start heaters or boilers, since for most daily uses we do not need to obtain warm water and we usually open the tap a few seconds with the handle in the central position. Thus achieving an energy saving.

If you intend to use the hot water you will only have to turn the handle to the left and the boiler will be activated to obtain mixed water (cold and hot).
