Chikoo has many other names, like Sapodilla, Sapota. Chikoo is slow growing tree, thus lives long. Chikoo is a tropical plant which likes warm climate. It is evergreen plant but the best season to grow is the starting of rainy season. We can can grow Chikoo in sandy loam and well draining soil.
